Privacy Policy
Dukaan Nafo is a shop-management app for mobile shops. This page explains what information the app handles and how it is protected.
Who we are

What information the app handles
- Shop records you enter: stock and IMEI numbers, bills, repairs, udhar and instalments, expenses, supplier purchases, and customers' names, phone numbers, addresses and birthdays.
- Shop profile: shop name, phone, address, GSTIN and UPI ID that you choose to print on bills.
- Account details (only if you sign in): your email address.
- Used-phone purchases: the seller's name, phone number, ID type and number that you record for your legal protection.
Where it is stored
- On your phone or computer. The database is encrypted (AES-256) with a key kept in the device's secure storage where available.
- In the cloud, only if you sign in. Records are copied to a private database hosted by Supabase in Mumbai, India. Each shop can read only its own data.
- PIN and password: your PINs are stored only as salted one-way hashes. Cloud passwords are handled by the sign-in service and are never visible to us.
Customer links
When you press Send link, the app creates an unguessable web address for one repair, bill or instalment plan. Anyone who has the address can see that one page: the device, status, amounts and dates, or the bill lines and warranty details. It never shows cost prices, lock codes, parts costs or private notes. Links stop working after 60 days. Share a link only with the customer it belongs to.
Messages sent through WhatsApp
The app opens WhatsApp with a ready message. The message then travels through WhatsApp under WhatsApp's own terms. We do not read or store your WhatsApp conversations.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data or your customers' data.
- We do not show advertisements or use advertising trackers.
- We do not read your shop records for any purpose other than running the features you use. Support staff will only look at cloud records if you ask for help and agree.
Your customers' information
You are the one who decides what to record about your customers. Please tell customers that you keep their name and phone number for billing, repairs and reminders, and delete their details when they ask and the law allows.
Your choices and rights
- Back up and export: Settings → Backup & restore. A backup can be protected with a password.
- Delete: Settings → Demo & data → Start empty removes everything on the device. To delete your cloud copy and account, send a WhatsApp message to +91 88661 42253 from your registered number. We will delete it within 30 days.
- Correct or access: everything you entered is visible and editable in the app.
Security
PIN lock with wrong-try limits, optional staff role that cannot see profit or cost prices, an owner-only activity log, encrypted storage and password-protected backups. No system is perfectly secure; keep your phone locked and your PIN private.
Children
The app is for shop owners and staff and is not meant for children.

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date below.
